The latest version of Windows Live Messenger 8.1 FINAL is available only for Windows XP and Windows Vista. It also includes shared folders and calls to landlines and cell phones.

This new version of Windows Live Messenger also has a completely different design than the one we’re used to with MSN Messenger.

- Shared Folders : Using shared folders, you can synchronize folders with your friends and share everything they contain. They will automatically update whenever a change is made to that shared directory, such as adding or removing a file.
